Well the embargo for Sony A7RII images has finally been lifted at 0100hrs (+8 GMT), August 5, 2015 so I finally get to show some sample images taken from Sony's latest and greatest mirror less camera.
In A Nutshell:
- Like the rest of the Sony Alpha series, the A7RII comes with a full frame sensor, this time, a (world's first) 42.4 megapixel back illuminated EXMORE R CMOS sensor that offers images at 7952 x 5304.
- 5-axis image stabilisation.
- A Hybrid AF system using phase detection / contrast detection AF with 399 points when using wide focal plane.
- High sensitivity of up to ISO 102400.
- 4K capture in camera.
- Large XGA OLED Tru-finder with ZEISS coating.
- Silent shooting mode.
I'll get out a more in-depth review soon, but for now, here are some pictures shot with the A7RII!
